Routescene LidarPod caused a stir at Intergeo 2014

We were delighted with the industry response to the Routescene LidarPod, our new turnkey 3D mobile mapping solution which we launched at Intergeo 2014 in Berlin last week.

Intergeo was as busy as ever and the show was a huge success for us, creating interest from across the industry and the globe for our new turnkey solution.

The Routescene LidarPod is different to other offerings, being the smallest and lightest self-contained system on the market. Visitors at our stand were surprised at just how compact and neat the system is, making it very easy and quick to deploy in the field. These benefits will transform surveying and how surveying is applied across many sectors, particularly in dangerous and hostile environments or where physical access to land is limited, risky or otherwise too costly including mining, forestry, utilities & energy as well as academic research and traditional surveying and mapping.

There was acknowledgement that the Routescene LidarPod addresses many of the challenges currently facing the surveying industry, enabling quick, exceptionally accurate, safe and cost effective surveys that previously could not have taken place.
